Why Iā€™m not happy?

That might be a question that bothers many people nowadays. Besides, the ongoing COVID pandemic limited our outdoor activities that make many people anxious and depressed.

Even when everything is back to normal, many of us still canā€™t feel happy.

Why?

When I was little, my grandparents always taught me to be grateful for the good life I have.

I donā€™t quite understand why back then because I havenā€™t experienced a ā€œbad lifeā€ before. The life, everybody is struggling for 3 meals per day.

Now, when our life condition has been increasing greatly. But happiness is still precious for many people.

There are many ways to get happiness, but from my experience, the 6 following reasons are the happiness killer for sure!

Compare parallel

In Asian culture, the parents like comparing their children with others, which I hate most. This kind of comparison is called parallel comparison.

During school time, classmates have always been compared with each other by the teachers. They tend to use it to give students pressure and push them harder to get higher scores!
